Satura: Rules of the game

  1. Everyone does their own missions
You are not allowed to cooperate with other people, even members of your own side, unless this is explicitly stated in the mission briefing.
This is also in your own interest: since your rank is calculated relative to other people, when you help people out you are actually helping to demote yourself.

  2. Only the smallest of hints are allowed
Telling someone that they're overlooking something, or telling them to RTFM is usually ok. For more explicit hints, please consult the staff until we implement a proper hints system.

  3. One account per person
Clone accounts are not allowed, and due to the new sides system this rule will have to be more actively policed than in the previous version of SERS.

  4. Help us keep the game fair
SERS members are encouraged to watch for violations of the site rules, within their own sides as well as in the opposing side.
Helping the staff catch cheaters will be rewarded.

  5. Do not guess / bruteforce
Solving the challenges by trying out every option you can think of is not what SERS is about, and therefore it is not allowed. It also wastes server resources.

  6. Hacking us
If you find a bug in SERS, please report it to us. We reward people who find and report security bugs in SERS.
Obviously, exploiting any security flaws you may find in our systems is not allowed.

  7. Violations
So what happens if you violate the rules? That depends on a lot of factors, and we really don't think it's neccesary to spell out everything. Every case will be judged by the admins, and handled appropriately.
